Not the usual pumpkin taste

I was really looking forward to the pumpkin puree, but I was disappointed with the taste as my expectations were also very high. Unfortunately, the taste is very sweet, which I am not used to from a fresh Hokkaido pumpkin. I would recommend it for desserts. Unfortunately, it's not for me for savory preparations... too bad.

The natural sweetness of pumpkins can actually vary depending on the variety and time of harvest - it can sometimes be stronger with Hokkaido pumpkins in particular. Tolles Produkt aber..

Eigentlich ein tolles Produkt für Menschen wie mich die gerne kochen, backen und Kürbis lieben. Ich hatte mich eigentlich sehr darüber gefreut als ich es hier im Shop entdeckt habe.
Ich werd es jedoch nicht wieder kaufen und zwar einfach aus dem Grund, dass die Dose sich nicht ohne Dosenöffner öffnen lässt. Das finde ich ziemlich ärgerlich. Ich habe zwar einen Dosenöffner aber den kann man nur benutzen wenn man viel Kraft hat. Ich hatte jemanden den ich um Hilfe bitten konnte, aber wäre ich alleine gewesen, dann hätte ich die Dose nicht nutzen können. (Ich habe einen kleinen Dosenöffner, keine Ahnung wie man den genau nennt und einfach nicht viel Kraft für sowas) Wirklich sehr schade.

Folgendes ist mir noch aufgefallen: es schmeckt leicht säuerlich im Gegensatz zu einem frischen Kürbis. Das Gericht welches ich zubereitet habe hat trotzdem geschmeckt, aber an einen frischen Kürbis kommt es nicht ran.
