Styrian pumpkin seeds
Pumpkins are a real symbol of Autumn and a real favourite on cold and rainy days, but are the perfect finish to summer salads. They always provide a colourful highlight and have a lot of delicious flavour. With 35 g of protein per 100 g, the pumpkin seeds are also rich in protein. And if that were not enough, the Styrian seeds also convince through a high fibre content (8 g/100 g). You might be asking yourself why you didn't join the pumpkin fan club earlier. We can only say: better late than never. Get your pumpkin now, either as a liquid with our pumpkin seed oil, our extra creamy pumpkin seed butter or our delightful roasted and salted pumpkin seeds. We also love our pure pumpkin seeds!
Gently dried styrian pumpkin seeds for your recipes
Do you love roasted and salted pumpkin seeds, but want to lower your salt intake? Our Styrian pumpkin seeds are just the thing you were looking for! Unsalted and gently dried, they will become your all time favourite: whether as a loyal companion for your hiking trips, a nourishing after workout snack or as a crunchy topping on your autumnal baked pumpkin. We can also recommend making your own pumpkin cookie dough and adding some Styrian pumpkin seeds on top. Now serve them with a creamy pumpkin soup – pumpkin overload, just how we like it!
Buy styrian pumpkin seeds
Pumpkin seeds are not pumpkin seeds. We went on an excursion looking for the best of the best and eventually found them in Austria. The Styrian pumpkin seeds were the clear winners. The seeds grow without a peel, meaning there is no work needed to get them ready! We also think the Styrian seeds are really good looking with their deep green colour, not to mention the flavour: their nutty aroma convinces from the first bite! And so you can enjoy them for an extra long time, the styrian pumpkin seeds come in a 1 kg value pack. Buy your unsalted and unroasted pumpkin seeds in the UK now and make your culinary creations even better!

Climate impact
At KoRo, we analyse the greenhouse gas emissions that are produced during the production of our snacks. These include, among other things, CO2, methane and nitrous oxide. Our hard-working sustainability team collects all the information to calculate a value: the so-called CO2 equivalents. We are now passing this information on to you so that you can make informed purchasing decisions and keep an eye on your personal carbon footprint. We also use these valuable findings ourselves, to try to make our supply chains even smarter in the future and monitor our CO2 footprint.
CO₂ emissions by product
To make the work of our sustainability team easier, we have teamed up with the company Cozero. They support us with their decarbonisation software to calculate the CO2 emissions of our products. Our products go through a lot before they make their way into your pantry or snack bowl, so there is a lot to take into consideration: production, packaging, and logistics – to name just the big steps.

CO₂ emission per product in comparison
Would you like to find out how well your favourite snack stacks up against other products in terms of carbon footprint? Say no more! To create comparability, we calculated the CO₂ emissions per 1 kg of our products and compared them with other products that end up on many people's plates every day, such as cheese, tofu, and many more. We also included coffee as a drink for comparison. So no matter if it is your favourite snack or your go-to kitchen product, you are now able to see exactly how it performs in our “CO₂ per kg of product” ranking.
Comparison of CO₂ emissions per product in kg
Disclaimer: Different methods (comparison products) - The CO2 emissions of the non-KoRo products come from a different data source. Therefore, there may be differences between their evaluation method and the evaluation of KoRo products.

Trace elements - all about selenium, zinc and co.
Calcium and magnesium have already made it into the public consciousness. But what about the equally important but lesser-known components of food? We are talking about trace elements. Do you know, for example, what zinc, copper and co. are important for and how you can get enough of these nutrients? You can find all the information here.
