Doesn't everybody love meatballs? Meatballs are a favourite throughout Europe and the world, however, with more and more people opting for vegetarian or purely plant-based diets, a tasty, easy to prepare vegan alternative was necessary. At KoRo, we like to try out new things, so we decided to create this alternative! Together with the famous vegan product creators "Rügenwalder Mühle", we came up with a way for everyone to enjoy meatballs. Order KoRo's vegan meatball mix now!
Partnership of the year
Rügenwalder Mühle x KoRo is a partnership for the ages. The leading German vegan alternative producers probably have a big enough selection on their own. Why the partnership with KoRo? Our expertise in long-lasting products! Together, we created several Rügenwalder Mühle products as dry mixes. This way, you can buy your vegan alternatives now without having to use them immediately. Here's how to use the dry mix to make vegan meatballs: simply mix the dry mix with 175ml of water and 4 tablespoons of canola oil. Let the resulting product rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes, and then shape your meatballs or burgers. Finally, heat up 2–3 tablespoons of canola oil in a pan and fry the meatballs for 5-6 minutes. That's it! In case you are looking for meat alternatives, but meatballs are simply not your thing, we've created several other products together with Rügenwalder Mühle: try our new vegan chicken style fillet, the vegan bacon bites or our vegan mince. We are even working on a vegan tuna alternative — stay tuned!

Our "meatballs" are not only super easy and quick to prepare, they also last for a very long time! How cool is that? Super cool! The coolest thing is that these vegan meatballs have a high protein and fibre content, with 15g of protein and 9.2g of fibre per 100g of prepared product. This means that they are not only particularly tasty, but also provide you with valuable nutrients. They are also free from flavour enhancers and preservatives. It doesn't get any better than that! The preparation is super easy! Just mix 175 ml of water and four tablespoons of rapeseed oil with the dry mix. Store it for 30 minutes in the fridge and then form it into meatballs. After that, they can be fried with 2–3 tablespoons of rapeseed oil in a pan on medium heat for 5–6 minutes on both sides.

The best!
If you want to make it super easy to prepare: I spread the mixed dough in a shallow bowl until smooth and when I take them out of the fridge, I don't form meatballs by hand, but just cut off suitable pieces, similar to pieces of cake, and lift them into the pan that way. They don't stick and are easy to turn.
The only thing that is really bad: It still says on the packs: Only for a short time!!! - That can't be true - a product like this is a perennial favorite, just like the V-Hack, which I also have a stock of.
