Is trail mix good for weight loss?

To lose weight, you basically need a calorie deficit. So you don't necessarily have to give up nuts, seeds and dried fruit during the diet. In general, we recommend a balanced diet.

Where does the name "trail mix" come from?

The "trail mix" got its name several centuries ago. At that time, it consisted only of raisins and almonds. However, since almonds were very expensive, only the wealthy could afford the delicious snack. And since studying was also reserved for the wealthy back then, the nut-fruit mixture was given the name "trail mix" that is still familiar today. In the meantime, however, we fortunately don't have to be a student:in, nor rich, to enjoy the delicious nut mixture. Is trail mix healthy?

Healthy is above all a balanced diet. Our trail mix of nuts and seeds is a source of protein and fiber. On 100 g the trail mix has 40 g carbohydrates. As usual, you will find the nutritional values listed next to the product.

Can I bake with the nut mixture?

Of course, that works out wonderfully! Our Trail Mix tastes great as a special ingredient in oat cookies, banana bread or homemade granola bars.

Can squirrels and birds eat trail mix?

You can also attract sweet squirrels and birds with the nut mixture wonderfully into your garden and prepare them a real feast.

What is the shelf life of Trail Mix?

Our nut mix can be stored in its original sealed packaging for at least 9 months from the date of production. It is best to store the granular mix in a cool, dry place protected from light.

Can my child eat the trail mix?

With the nut mixture, there is a risk that children can choke on it. We therefore advise you to keep your child occupied with a puzzle or wooden animals - so you can still enjoy the nibble!

What nutritional values are in the nut mix?

Our trail mix contains 28.4 g fat, 39.8 g carbohydrates and 12.5 g protein per 100 g. With 7.3 g of dietary fiber, it also has a high fiber content.
