It does not get any easier than our vegan fillet: mix 175 ml of cold water, 2 tablespoons of rapeseed oil, and the contents of the bag thoroughly together. Then let everything soak in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. You can shape the mill fillets as you like and fry them with 2-3 tablespoons of rapeseed oil for 5-6 minutes over medium heat. You can of course season your vegan chicken as you like and use it for all your kitchen creations. 

In contrast to delicacies from the refrigerated shelf, our mill fillet has a longer best-before date, which gives you more flexibility when organising your week or feed last-minute guests. And although this vegan fillet has a shelf life of twelve months, it still does not contain any flavour enhancers or preservatives. But that's not it! This new and tasty vegan chicken is also a great source of protein and rich in fibre!

Yes, it does. Like many meat alternatives, this Rügenwalder Mühle x KoRo vegan fillet is based on wheat gluten, which gives it the right texture.

For ideal storage, store it in a dry place away from direct light. 

The exact recipe is of course top secret, but we can tell you that our vegan fillet is based on soy protein and wheat gluten. Its incredible chicken-like taste comes from the unique mix of spices from the Rügenwalder Mühle.

In contrast to other refrigerated chicken alternatives, you can prepare our fillet whenever you need it without having to worry about the looming best before date since they have a long shelf life.

Unfortunately too salty :(

In terms of consistency and taste, absolutely the best vegan substitute product... but unfortunately sooo salty (almost 10g/100g are not really healthy either...), has the recipe been changed?

Super tasty, but a little salty

I admit I was a bit skeptical at first. Fillet made from dry breadcrumbs and powder... But the result convinced me. It really is very close to the original. The consistency is surprisingly similar, slightly fibrous, and the taste is also good. The only drawback is that I think it's far too salty, which is why I deducted 1 star.

Taste SUPER, just too salty!

I rarely write reviews, but this mix was a real surprise. I eat meat, but developed an allergy to chicken as an adult. In Austria, the meat substitutes are all too greasy and far too strongly (and often badly) seasoned for me. I like the Greenforce pea protein mixes, but pea protein is so heavy on the stomach.... That's why I reach for tofu or seitan flour - or just the types of meat that I can still eat. This product is finally something different! It's soy-based; it tastes great and the consistency is also really good - but unfortunately the mixture is far too salty. I hope it will be permanently added to the range, in two versions: One with the current taste, only 1/3 less salt, so that not only the cook but also the connoisseur can be in love; and perhaps even a version without flavoring/salt, for seasoning yourself. This would give you the flexibility to add dashi, sauces, miso etc. during the swelling process and enjoy this great texture...

I'm really impressed and have built up a small stock. A great and tasty meat substitute that comes very close in terms of texture and taste. I also find the seasoning very tasty, but the mixture is quite salty, which is just about right for me as I don't usually add much salt.

I usually never write reviews, but...

I am absolutely thrilled. I'm trying to reduce my meat consumption and find the vegan chicken even better than the original and so easy. Just add water and oil, wait and bang: meat from the larder. My favorite way to eat the fillets is with sweet and sour sauce like nuggets. Unfortunately, I found out today that it's only available for a short time. I really hope it will be included in the normal range. I never write reviews, but I had to take the time here. I hope this product stays with us for a long time!
