Some customers' love for our little bundles of energy has sometimes stopped at the packaging. To ensure that our Energy Balls arrive filled to the brim and round as a ball, they are protected from possible damage during transportation by a small tray made of biodegradable bagasse. Before we used these trays, we received many complaints about leaking Energy Balls, which in the worst case even had to be disposed of. So in the short term, we only knew how to help ourselves with the bagasse trays. However, many customers gave us feedback that digging through the outer packaging and the bagasse bowl was neither pleasant for the impatient nor for the environment. So we spent a long time thinking about it and from 2023 we will be offering new packaging for our Energy Balls, which not only saves around 65% material compared to the old packaging, but also provides optimum protection for our little ball. A first glance at this new packaging might cause a stir, as it naturally looks much smaller. But there's no need to worry, our Energy Balls still weigh an impressive 30 g and nothing has been changed in terms of the recipe, quality or sphericity. A win-win situation, less packaging waste and just as much enjoyment!
