Memo never gets old!

One thing is clear to everyone from the past: memo can simply be played endlessly, because it is guaranteed never to get boring. Because the cards are always laid out differently, the memory has to be reset and refocused every round. And with a total of 48 cards, i.e. 24 different pairs of cards, there is still enough variety even in the 10th round in a row. Nevertheless, a certain learning effect is clearly in focus for us. That's why we didn't opt for the classic card pairs of 2 identical cards each: In our memo game, you always find a food whose partner represents the respective origin of the product. So if you turn over the strawberry, then the matching partner is ...? Exactly, the strawberry bush! This not only creates some variety, but your child also learns something about nutrition and playfully acquires initial knowledge about the origin of all the food that we usually only know from the fruit and vegetable counter in the supermarket.

Memo rules explained simply

Has t been a while since you've last played memo? No problem, we'll give you a quick refresher! It's actually quite simple: First, all the cards are shuffled and dealt face down on the table. The person who starts the game is allowed to turn over two cards. If it's a pair, it's your turn again, otherwise you turn the cards over again and it's the next person's turn in the order. The aim is to win as many pairs of cards as possible. Because the winner is the person who has the most pairs to show off at the end.

When did I win the game?

The winner of the game is the person who has won the most pairs at the end. Your goal should be to get hold of as many matching cards as possible in order to outdraw your opponents as quickly as possible.

Approximately how long does a round take?

Of course, this depends on the skill of you and your fellow players. On average, however, it can be said that a round of Memo takes no longer than 20 minutes.

For whom is the KoRo Memo suitable?

The most fun and learning effect will probably have children aged 6 years and older with the game. At this age, the game is great for training your child's attention and concentration. In addition, they learn early on where the fruits and vegetables from the supermarket actually come from. But adults can also have a lot of fun with the game. And who knows: Maybe you'll catch one of your friends who might also have no idea where the food they love actually comes from.

Among how many people can the KoRo memo be played?

Our nutrition memo game can be played with up to 6 people at the same time. Usually, however, Memo is played with 2-4 players.
