This brown miraculous powder takes its name from an indigenous Brazilian population who was enjoying the taste and effects of guarana powder long before the rest of the world had been infected with guarana mania. Traditionally, the Guaraní people drink this high-energy beverage before the hunt. In modern Brazil guarana is still very popular – as tea, and in energy drinks. In summer, Guarana can also be a great addition to your cool drinks such as lemonade, iced-tea and so on.

What used to stimulate the Guaraní can also help you keep going during the exams or a long evening of work. As guarana is very high in fibre, the effects of caffeine are steadier and more gradual than those of coffee; moreover, you will not be left feeling weak and sleepy afterwards, as it can happen with coffee. Within an hour of consuming Guarana drink, you will notice a great stimulating effect. While it can seem a great fix for lowering your coffee addiction, we do not recommend a daily dosage of more than 3 g of powder (one teaspoon) per day. Guarana is also not suitable for pregnant and nursing women, as well as for children and adolescents.

Viel Niederschlag und nicht zu kalt: die Guaranapflanze fühlt sich im Amazonasgebiet am wohlsten, deswegen befinden sich auch dort die größten Anbaugebiete. Unser Guaranapulver stammt aus Brasilien.
Stell Dir vor, Du gehst nachts durch den dunklen Regenwald und plötzlich hängen riesige Augen in Deinem Weg. Wegen ihres Aussehens sind die Guaranapflanzen Teil einiger Legenden der Guaraní und anderer indigener Völker. Die Wahrheit ist aber weniger unheimlich: Zur Erntezeit öffnen sich die Früchte und der große schwarze Kern kommt zum Vorschein.
Wir brauchen nur die Kerne – deshalb kommen die Früchte zur Trocknung für kurze Zeit in einen Ofen – dadurch lösen sich Schale und Fruchtfleisch leichter. Die besten Kerne dürfen sich freuen, denn sie werden zu KoRo-Guaranapulver vermahlen.

The darker color is actually due to the natural processing, in which no ingredients are artificially removed or "refined", but we know that this is not suitable for every application - especially if you want to dissolve it in water. Perhaps a guarana extract or a more finely processed variant would be more suitable in your case.
